How to install and update the assistant.

Steps

  1. Head over to the Assistant page.

  2. For your desktop, install the extension for your preferred browser (Chrome or Firefox). To use the assistant on your phone, read more instructions here.

  3. That’s it! You can launch the assistant by heading over to Poshmark.

Updating

  • To update the assistant, visit the Update Page on each device that you use the Assistant.

How to make the most of the button.

Tips And Tricks

  1. Use the button in it’s own window and with only one tab in that window. That makes the browser ensure that it’s getting the necessary resources to run smoothly. Open another window of the browser if you want to go to other websites while you are using the assistant.

  2. Don’t over-share/follow, but don’t be shy either. 10,000 shares/follows in one day might be a bit too much, but 1,000 might be too little.

  3. If all else fails, refresh the page. This will reset the assistant and clear any errors you may have been experiencing.

  4. Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser.

  5. Be safe and have fun. Don’t get your closet shut down by Poshmark.

  6. SUPER TIP: Want to grow your following fast and make sales? Share the party feed to the party using the “Share To Party” button. Not only will people follow you for sharing their stuff, they’ll also share your stuff to a broader audience.

Full access to the app for 7 days.

Share every item on the page to your followers.

  2. Use the filtering options on the left side of the page to filter out ‘sold’ items, or any other items you don’t intend to share.

  3. Load all of the items on the page that you intend to share. If you have more than 48 items in your closet (or someone else’s closet), you’ll need to scroll all the way to the bottom to the page to continue loading them all.

  4. Launch the Closet Assistant.

  5. Head over to the 🔁 tab.

  6. Click the “Share To Followers” button. It will tell you how many items there are on the page, and how far along you are with sharing.

Optional

  • You can change the speed of the share button at the bottom of the 🔁 tab.
  • You can also pause the sharing by clicking the button again.
  • Continuous mode will share the items on the page over and over again until the CAPTCHA comes up.
  • If the CAPTCHA comes up, verify you’re not a robot and click the same “Share To Followers” button to continue where you left off.

Share every item on the page to a party.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the closet or page with the items you intend to share. This could be your closet, someone else’s closet, the main feed, or a party.

  6. Click the “Share To Party” button. It will tell you how many items there are on the page, and how far along you are with sharing.

Note

  • The ‘Share To Party’ button only works when there is a party going on.
  • Also, for restricted parties, the button will still try to share every item on the page even if it doesn’t actually share to the party.
    • Example - There’s a boots party and you try to share some pants. The share will be unsuccessful but the button will try to share it anyways.

Optional

  • You can change the speed of the share button at the bottom of the 🔁 tab.
  • You can also pause the sharing by clicking the button again.
  • Continuous mode will share the items on the page over and over again until the CAPTCHA comes up.
  • If the CAPTCHA comes up, verify you’re not a robot and click the same “Share To Party” button to continue where you left off.

Follow users listed in a closet's 'followers' or 'following'.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the closet that has the followers, or, follows the people you want to follow.

  2. When you get to the closet, click on the list of ‘followers’ or ‘following’.

  3. Once the list is visible, launch the Closet Assistant.

  4. Head over to the 🔁 tab.

  5. Click the “Follow Users” button. It will start following users sequentially, and it will scroll down the page to continue loading users.

Note

  • If there are a lot of people loaded on the page (eg. thousands) this might bog down your computer / browser and it might run slowly. It’s best to refresh the page and do the operation on another closet when that happends.

Optional

  • You can change the speed of the follow button at the bottom of the 🔁 tab.
  • You can also pause the following by clicking the button again.
  • If the CAPTCHA comes up, verify you’re not a robot and click the same “Follow Users” button to continue where you left off.

Unfollow users listed in your closet's 'following' page.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the your closet.

  2. When you get to the closet, click on the list of users you’re ‘following’.

  3. Once the list is visible, launch the Closet Assistant.

  4. Head over to the 🔁 tab.

  5. Click the “Unfollow Users” button. It will start following users sequentially, and it will scroll down the page to continue loading users.

Note

  • If there are a lot of people loaded on the page (eg. thousands) this might bog down your computer / browser and it might run slowly. It’s best to refresh the page and do the operation on another closet when that happends.

Optional

  • You can change the speed of the unfollow button at the bottom of the 🔁 tab.
  • You can also pause the unfollowing by clicking the button again.
  • If the CAPTCHA comes up, verify you’re not a robot and click the same “Unollow Users” button to continue where you left off.

Now you can truly walk away when sharing / following.

When you are sharing or following automatically, there is a chance you will see the “I’m not a robot” CAPTCHA popup. The assistant is smart enough to stop what it’s doing when that pops up.

Now, if the Captcha alarm is enabled (it is by default), a chime will sound when the Captcha pops up. That means you can go to a different tab, go to different applications on your computer, or even do other things in the room and you’ll know exactly when to verify that you’re not a robot.

To hear how the alarm sounds, click here.

Update

There’s now desktop notifications! Well, they’re actually browser notifications, but they show up on your desktop. Now you can be notified of a CAPTCHA popup no matter where you are on your computer.

Organize your closet quickly and intuitively.

The Closet Organizer is the fastest and most reliable way to organize your closet.

Steps

  1. Go to your closet, select ‘Available’ items and scroll to the bottom (just like normal sharing).

  2. Head to the ⚡ tab. You’ll notice the ‘Closet Organizer’ button.

  3. Hit “Enable Organizer”

  4. You’ll notice the items in your closet have a purple border.

  5. Drag the items around until you like the order.

  6. Then, hit “Organize Closet” to make the changes stick. It takes a minute or two depending on your closet size.

  7. Refresh the page and see that your items are now in the order you wanted!

Troubleshooting

You may be visiting this page because the assistant told you to check the documentation after an error.

Here’s what could have went wrong:

  1. You’re not connected to the internet (or it’s flaky).

  2. Poshmark has disabled your sharing…

    A. Try sharing a few items manually. Usually this triggers the CAPTCHA. After completing the CAPTCHA, you should be able to use the Closet Organizer.

    B. You may have shared too many items today and should wait until tomorrow.

  3. Some other weird error:

Edit + Share all of your items instantly.

It doesn’t have to take forever to edit + share your items.

What’s ‘Edit + Share’? Well, according to the 30 Minute Method (30MM), opening up your items and editing them without making changes, and then submitting them back to your closet, not only shares your items but it also gets them to the top of the brand page that it’s listed on.

Steps

  1. Go to your closet, select ‘Available’ items and scroll to the bottom (just like normal sharing).

  2. Head to the ⚡ tab. You’ll notice the ‘Edit + Share Items’ button.

  3. Hit “Edit + Share Items”.

  4. Wait until it finishes!
